Your sprinkler may merely need a good cleaning. So we will locate the filter, rinse it thoroughly and have all debris removed. Cleaning the rest of the sprinkler head before reassembling, we will then refill the hole and test your sprinklers. What causes Low Water Sprinkler Spray
Low water pressure will cause the sprinkler to shoot minimal water. There are several reasons for low water pressure including but not limited to partially closed valves, leaks in the water line or a crushed or obstructed water line. To determine the cause, we begin by first checking the valves. These valves are located on the backflow device, which is above ground at the horizontal and vertical pipes. We will inspect your valves for any shorts or damages and then check for leaks from your sprinkler heads. To check for leaks in the water line, we also look for signs of leaking water, when the sprinklers are on, a very wet area, or even a depression in your yard. 
Your water line may be crushed or obstructed which makes finding the leak challenging or just not possible especially if the blocked lines are the result of tree roots wrapping around and squeezing the pipe over several years. Crushed water lines also occur when the soil is compacted, usually by vehicles driving over the area. Locating this type of damage can be more challenging, resulting in more digging. Restoration is achieved by first fully draining the system. We will turn off the main water valve as well as any other valves, then allow the water to drain out of the system. Once complete, we drain all manifolds which are used to switch underground watering to above-ground drip irrigation. After drainage is complete, we blow out the system with compressed air.
